First Visit
Your initial appointment will consist of a consultation explaining your diagnosis and treatment options. This will involve taking radiographs and a CBCT scan. Please remove all facial and ear piercings (if possible). Dr. Dionne will perform a comprehensive examination to diagnose orofacial pain and pulpal injury and determine if the tooth is a good candidate for endodontic therapy. If a treatment plan is provided, we will further discuss the proposed plan and schedule it accordingly. This discussion may include cost, procedure details, and appointment information.
Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your consultation:
- A list of medications you are currently taking.
- Your dental insurance card(s)
IMPORTANT: A parent or guardian must accompany all patients under the age of 18 at the consultation visit.
Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to treatment (e.g., diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever) or if you are on any medication (e.g., heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy) or require medication prior to dental cleanings (e.g., antibiotics for pre-medication). This information can be indicated on the medical history forms that are recommended to be completed online before your first visit.
