Oral Sedation 

Oral sedation is a form of sedation that is taken by mouth in pill form. This is an option for patients to help reduce anxiety prior to and during an appointment for endodontic treatment. The medication is given to the patient in the office and they are required to have a driver over the age of 18 to escort them out of the office at the end of their appointment. Oral sedation helps to calm the central nervous system resulting in a feeling of relaxation while still being fully conscious. Patients choosing to have oral sedation administered can discuss their options with a team member during their consultation appointment.
